Can You Spare an hour or two a week? Then Help Make a Difference at Our Food Share Hub!

We’re looking for dedicated volunteers to join our lovely team at a community-led food share hub.

We are recruiting  to two volunteer roles, both vital to helping us collect and redistribute surplus food to local residents.

About the Roles:
As a Food Hub Volunteer, you’ll play a public-facing role, ensuring smooth operation and fair distribution of food to those we serve. This position requires individuals who are:

  •   Confident and assertive – capable of handling interactions with the public.
  •   Firm but calm – able to uphold service boundaries when needed.
  •   Community-minded – passionate about helping others and making a positive impact.

As a Food Collection Volunteer you will collect large trays of food from supermarkets and deliver to our hub.
For this role you need to have:
- Full UK driving licence
- ⁠Be fully insured
- ⁠Be confident travelling to new locations without support
- ⁠Be reliable and punctual

Please Note:
This is an unpaid role within a Community Interest Company (CIC) with no remuneration or mileage costs covered.
